Send OrcaFlo events to another app

A webhook sends a short message to a web address you choose every time something happens in OrcaFlo. Your developer or tool uses it to update a CRM, a spreadsheet or a team chat.

Updated

Add a webhook

1

Open API & Webhooks → Webhooks

In the sidebar, under Connections, click API & Webhooks, then Webhooks.

2

Enter the address

Paste the Endpoint URL (https) your developer or tool gave you. It must start with https://.

3

Choose events

Tick the events you want, for example contact.created for new leads or order.paid for payments, or All events.

4

Click Add webhook, then Test

OrcaFlo sends a sample event and shows whether the other side accepted it.

Good to know

Signing secret

Every request is signed. Click Secret to copy the signing secret for your developer, and Rotate to change it (the old one keeps working for 24 hours).

Retries

If the other side is down, OrcaFlo tries again for about a day. Recent deliveries shows every attempt, and Resend sends one again.

Automatic turn-off

A webhook that fails for a whole day is turned off, and your admins get a notification. Fix the address and turn it back on.

Events you can send

Contacts

contact.created (a new contact from a first message, lead form, the API or the panel), contact.updated, lifecycle stage and tag changes, merges, deletions, and contact.temperature_updated when the AI rates a lead hot, warm or cold.

Messages

message.received from a customer, message.sent (AI, team, follow-up, broadcast or API) and message.failed when one couldn’t be delivered.

Conversations

conversation.escalated when the AI hands a chat to a person, conversation.resolved, bot paused or resumed, opened, closed, assigned, and reply-time targets met or missed.

Bookings and orders

appointment.booked, rescheduled, cancelled, completed or no-show, and order.created, paid or cancelled (payment links, cash on delivery, manual sales).

Everything else

broadcast.completed and incoming_webhook.received. The full list with example data is on the developers page.
